Best cities of punk rock NOW

Santa Cruz has a pretty good scene. It used to be way better. Agent Orange, Blast, Fury 66(r.i.p.), Good Riddance. But lately its lying more on the reggae/punk rock bands. Hell there's all types but its not what it used to be per se.

OMAHA...ok, I have no I dea why I said that.

I never lived anywhere there was much going on. So I'll have to take all y'all's words on it. I have heard good things about Olympia, Baltimore, DC, Boston, and of course Cleveland.

The fun in D.C. has come and gone. It's turned into a buncha jaded motherfuckers that just stand around and try to look as bored as humanly possible.

That's LA too. It's just about anywhere with a scene where a lot of bands play. People get bored. Also, I don't know if you noticed but there's a new species of showgoers my friends call the 'white belts,' since that's what they wear, and if looking bored at shows paid they'd all be billionaires. LA is plagued with those people. If they just said something interesting every once in a while or showed just a flicker of human emotion I wouldn't mind but I'm afraid they're all retro form and no content.
